Lush's Frozen Bath Bomb

I was feeling on edge after watching yet another episode of Pretty Little Liars, which sounded to me like the perfect excuse to wind down and try one of my new bath bombs from Lush. I decided to use the Frozen one. 

Lush's Frozen Bath Bomb

The appearance of the bomb is beautiful - the lady in the shop described it as looking like Elsa's dress. Its a spherical, pale blue bath bomb with a more vibrant, sky blue running through the middle. It also has quite a bit of glitter on the outside too. Apart from being Frozen themed, I think it was the smell the most attracted me to this bomb. Especially in summer, I really love the fresher smelling products. This one has the freshest scent out of the five I bought. It has a mixture of grapefruit, which is a lovely, mood-enhancing smell, and Tunisian neroli. The uplifting fragrance means this would be a great bath bomb to use in the morning if your feeling a bit grotty or tired. 

Fizzing away!

As soon as you drop this bomb into the water, it immediately fizzes into a blend of snow white and sky blue. This instantly made me feel happier and calmer. Once it all dissolved, the white element felt so soft and moisturising on my skin, which means it was not only fun to use but also beneficial. I think mositurising bath bombs are great in the summer as you're in the sun more often and your skin becomes more dry. After that had all melted onto my skin, the bath was a gorgeous blue with a glittery sheen on the surface of the water. It all felt very magical! The glitter did stay on my skin the next day as well, which could be annoying for some people, but I really liked it as my it made my skin shimmer when I was in the sun. However, some of the blue also stayed on my skin too, which I didn't appreciate as much! The glitter and some of the blue stayed in the bath which meant I had to spend five minutes or so washing the bath out. This means if you want to use a bath bomb for a relaxing night in, this might not be exactly what you're looking for.

A shimmery sheen

This bomb is an exclusive product to the new Lush store on Oxford Street in London. I picked it up when I went shopping there on my birthday (which, if you haven't read the blog post about yet, you can find it here). If you're nearby, I would recommend picking it up if you want a fun yet calming bath but don't mind cleaning your tub for a little while afterwards. If I'm there and they're still selling this bomb, I would most probably buy it again. It stuck to the theme of Frozen perfectly, and that itself made me a very happy girl!
