Lush's Yoga Bomb Bath Bomb
As some of you may know, I started sixth form on Friday. It was a weird mix of emotions - nerves because I didn't know anybody or what to expect, but also excitement that I was doing everything I wanted to. Friday was an induction day; I start properly on Tuesday. I have a lovely form mentor and made friends with some of the girls in the group. The night before, I thought to treat myself to a relaxing bath. Just by being called 'Yoga Bomb', I knew this was the perfect fit.

At first glance, you might think this to be a pretty boring bath. I'm not a huge fan of it's appearance. It's a plain orange bomb with a bit of glitter, so no hint of incredible colours bursting all around your water, which is what I like for my bath bombs. But smell it, and it's more than likely ending up in your basket. It's a woody fragrance, which some might turn their nose up at when hearing it (I did), but I'm totally okay with a woody fragrance. It's a very warm, comforting smell. It's a scent completely unique to Yoga Bomb. According to the website, it has a scent of oilbanum and ho wood. It also has sandalwood in it, which has soothing qualities. When you do purchase it, the sticker explains that it is a layered bomb, so even though it doesn't look the most exciting on the outside, the inside promises something quite different.
Like all Lush bath bombs, you drop this product into the bath and watch it disperse over the water. As you would imagine, a brilliant orange spreads across bath. The smell was immediately released and stayed in the bathroom for the evening. I was waiting for more colours to appear. They eventually did, but it took a little while. Purple and turquoise came from the bomb, but the overall colour of the water remained orange. As you got into the bath, your skin felt silky and moisturised. The sandalwood oil made the bath incredibly relaxing and the scent clung to your skin. A golden, glittery feast also appears on the surface of the water and at the bottom of the tub, which means you do have a bit of cleaning to do afterwards. This product was the perfect choice for relaxing - the calming sandalwood combined with the woody fragrance felt like a warm, reassuring hug.
This product was an exclusive to the Oxford Street store in London, but now can be brought in regular stores. It is £3.95, the same as the other new bath bombs, which I think is quite expensive. Most of bath bombs that they have in the stores all year round are £3.35, so hopefully if they keep these newer ones in stores, they'll drop the price when they've been in there for a little while. However, this is the most relaxing bath bomb I've tried, although Twilight is a close second. So if you want to go the extra mile for soothing bath but don't mind giving your tub a little clean afterwards, I would definitely recommend picking this one up. I would buy it again if I know I have a stressful situation coming up and I want a calming bath the night before.
This is the end of the little 'Oxford Street Lush Purchases' saga that I started after I brought them on my birthday. I've enjoyed all of the products I brought, maybe except from the Flowering Tea Bubble Bar, which I was a bit dissapointed by, despite its awesome appearance. My favourite was definitely the Intergalactic Bath Bomb, which they have thankfully brought into regular stores. All my Lush product reviews are in my Blog Archive across July and August 2015 if you want to check them out. I hope you've enjoyed this little series. I hope to do more reviews of some of their new bath products when they come out, probably around Christmas time because I get extremely carried away in Lush when they release their festive products. They're just so cute!
Hope you're all well and I'll be back with another post soon!
From,
Eleanor
