Lush's Yuzu and Cocoa Bubbleroon

On results day, I wanted to treat myself to a nice Lush bath. The bright yellow colour of the Yuzu and Cocoa bubbleroon matched my mood, so I chose to use that one. I even lit candles for the event.

Lush's Yuzu and Cocoa Bubbleroon
A bubbleroon is a bubble bar made to look like a macaroon, which is such a cute idea. It is a bright yellow colour with a little bit of shimmer, although that might have been because some glitter had rubbed off from other products in my basket. A jam type thingy separates the two halves of the bubbleroon so you can easily take half of the product and crumble it under the running water. Having this means that you can use it for at least two baths. Out of all of the products I brought at the Oxford Street store, this one smells the best. The ingredients include coconut oil and shea butter with a scent of citrus oils and a hint of chocolate. To me, it smells like lemon-y cookies. As you can imagine, it has quite a sweet smell, but would be the perfect mood-enhancing fragrance for a pick-me-up bath. As soon as you pick this product up, you can tell it will be moisturising. It has a soft and creamy texture. This is created by the coconut oil and shea butter's moisturising qualities.

Crumbling under the water
Like a traditional Lush bubble bar, you take a portion from the product and crumble it under the running water to create bubbles. Some of the bubble bars from Lush have dissapointed me slightly because of the lack of bubbles, but this one created a lot. I don't think it was really meant to, but mine made a heart shape around the tap! Despite this, they did also spread across the whole of the water as well, which I've found some products also don't do as much. As well as lots of bubbles, the bubbleroon made my bath water a yellow-y/green-y colour. It was a bright colour so would be a great bath if you're feeling down. The citrus oil in the bubbleroon are used as mood-enhancers too. You could immediately feel the coconut oil and shea butter getting to work on moisturising your skin. I would say this benefitted your skin as much as my favourite Lush bath product everrrr, The Comforter. The lovely scent did stay on my skin after my bath, so can stay with you throughout the evening and continue to brighten your mood. My bath needed a quick clean afterwards but it took no longer than 30 seconds.

Although I brought this from the Oxford Street store, it is not an exclusive to that shop. Some of the products that I've reviewed on this blog - the Intergalactic Bath Bomb and Frozen Bath Bomb - are now no longer exclusive and can be brought in other stores around the country. This product was £3.65, which is a little more expensive than some of their other products, but considering the fun you have with it and you can use it multiple times, its a reasonable price. This product's formula has changed since the Oxford Street store opened which I think has made it more beneficial to the skin. I don't think the fragrance changed though, so if you've tried the old formula and didn't like the bath as much as the scent, it might be worth trying it again. I really liked this product, especially the smell, and might purchase it again. I want to try the shower cream with the same scent now! Even if you go into Lush and don't plan on buying anything, go and give this bubbleroon a sniff. I promise you won't regret it!

Heart of Bubbles!

Have a nice weekend.

Eleanor
