Ellie's Monthly Playlist: August

So, back in May, I started a little series called "Ellie's Monthly Playlist", which lets you in on my 5 favourite songs, albums or general artists from the month. And have I kept that up? Lol, no. And it's probably a bit early to be doing my August monthly playlist on the 18th, but I'm off on holiday from tomorrow and I doubt I'll find any material I adore more than the delights I'm gonna to tell you about now (plus I'm on a complete music buzz after seeing the angelic George Ezra live last night - I promise I'll do a 2018 gig round up at the end of the year which will tell you all about it). So let's get started:  LOYAL TO ME BY NINA NESBITT  Nina was mentioned in my last monthly playlist with 'Somebody Special', and if she keeps making music like she has been, she'll probably end up on all of them. Her entry on this edition is her latest single 'Loyal to Me', which, for me, is Dua Lipa's 'New Rules...

Ellie and the Harry Potter Adventure

So for my 19th Birthday present this year, after banging on about it for literal years, I received tickets to the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studio Tour. Yeah, for realsies. It was fair to say I was excited - I squealed when I opened up the envelope with the tickets in it and bounced around the living room a little bit. I bought the box set, watched them all in super ...

Hello and welcome to probably one of my favourite posts to plan and shoot. Am I going to a festival? No. Do I wish I was? Absolutely. I've always wanted to go to Reading, and I'd especially love to go this year thanks to headline sets from Fall Out Boy and Panic! At The Disco (as long as they don't play all that many songs from their new album, not really a fan I'm afraid). And if I was going, I know exactly what I'd be wearing clothes-wise and makeup wise, which I've planned out here in this festival-inspired get ready with me, using the products I was gushing over in my July beauty discoveries post (linked here if you haven't read that one yet). Having said that, I'd prolly be chucking a load more glitter on my face if I was actually going to a festival, so I've toned down the makeup a tad to make it a bit more wearable, and the outfits could easily be worn day-to-day as well. So without further ado, let's get on with the look!  I ...
