'Average Girl' Health & Beauty Maintenance: Lockdown Edition

Let me just start this blog post off by saying: I'm not letting anyone (apart from the government, obviously) tell me how to spend my time during lockdown, and you shouldn't either. Of course, I can't really get around not doing my uni work because I would quite like to graduate, but with that being said, in such an unprecedented time, nobody should be telling you what you should and shouldn't be doing when no-one really knows what's going on. However, I know that in this weird portion of history that we call 'lockdown,' what works for me is keeping to some kind of routine to keep me feeling like me. Beginning my posts with, 'Hello, been a while, hasn't it?' is getting a bit tired now. But, in a very much expected turn of events, my final semester as a third-year university student has been anything but quiet. And, towards the latter part of the term - as with pretty much everything across globe - things turned a little...abnormal. I'm now back from uni, still carrying on with my final major project, trying to pretend as much as possible that everything's absolutely 100% regular. I think in this crazy time we call lockdown, it's important to remind ourselves that there is no pressure to be productive - there's a global pandemic going on for crying out loud, the circumstances aren't exactly ideal for your best work. So, in the moments between assignment stress, tea breaks and naps, I've found some little undiscovered gems, and reignited some old hobbies, to keep myself entertained and to provide little distractions for myself.
